International orders cannot be returned due to high costs.
Wood Scales, Bone Scales, Antler Scales. Wood, Bone and Antler is beautiful, natural, great to work with, great to use as a material for knife and tool handles. Wood, Bone, and Antler can expand, contract and change! Wood 'breathes', it absorbs and expels moisture. The volume and speed of this 'breathing' can lead to cracks, splits and contractions in the wood; particularly around the edges and against the pins and bolsters. There is no way to prevent this, even if the wood is stabilized!
You can mitigate splitting and cracking by avoiding damp/high humidity conditions, drying the wood slowly and not exposing the wood to direct heat. Buying wood handles is always a risk and most makers will not warranty splits and cracks or shrinkage.Whereas we do our best to advertise correct item colours, colour renditions and descriptions can change and vary and we do not guarantee the colours of items will be exactly as described either by us or by the online media you use to view this website.

Manufacturer's defects. Please email a description of the issue to us (sffishercutlery@gmail.com) and we can advise your next steps. These Are Artist Made objects, and therefore can not be compared to factory made objects… these knives are made 100% by hand.
Manufacturer's defects are dealt with directly by us and only us. If you attempt repair or alteration, we will not consider assessing the knife.
Unwanted returns. Please email a description and reason. On receipt of email we will advise on next steps. In general, we will not accept returns of our knives unless they remain perfectly intact with all packaging in perfect condition. knives may not be used in any way, sharpened or altered. Packaging may not be ripped, written on. All package contents including any promotional materials such as sticker, pins, coins, cards, or letters, Sheaths (but not limited to) must be returned with the product in perfect condition.
Refunds. If a return and refund for a perfectly undamaged and completely working product is agreed to by us, a re-packaging / Assessment for re-sale/ and re-listing fee of $25.00CAD will be deducted from your refund.
Any Returns (and subsequent refunds) we agree to must be made within 14 days of receipt of order. Returns MUST be agreed to by us.
All Clearance, Special Orders, Sale, Prototype, and Discounted items are not returnable for any reason and are Final Sale.
All errors and discrepancies in any orders received have to be notified to us within 14 days of receipt of the goods. After that period no action or alteration can be taken.
Puchaser will pay return shipping to us, unless otherwise noted…item must be sent with tracking.
Refunds will only be issued when item has been returned to and received by us. RETURNS MUST BE AGREED TO BY US.
